I am the only parent of a wonderful, loving, goofy 8-year-old son. I work full-time outside the home, so a big part of my life is spent trying to find balance, managing my different roles and keeping all the balls up in the air!
It wasn't always this way. I was married and thought I knew where my life was heading, but I was given a very unexpected detour: finding out that my husband of 6 years was hiding a secret life. He had cheated on me for most of our marriage, was a sex addict and a pedophile.
This blog is a place where I have shared my story in the hope that other women who find themselves in similar situations will know that they are not alone. It is also a place where I can share the joys and challenges of being an only parent and find support from others.
